Democracy in Action: Ghana's 2008 Elections

Ghana's 2008 elections were intensely competitive, with the presidential candidate winning by fewer than 42,000 votes out more than 9 million cast in a Dec. 26 runoff election. Carter Center observers witnessed the entire process.
